Honeywell’s Dolphin® 9700HC rugged digital assistant is purpose-built for healthcare applications such as bedside point-of-care, specimen collection and inventory management – combining a rugged, userfriendly design with a complete suite of technologies to enable maximum mobile user productivity and efficiency.
The Dolphin 9700hc is the first rugged digital assistant available with disinfectant-ready housing. Excellent at resisting the harmful effects of fast-drying disinfecting solutions commonly used in healthcare environments, the Dolphin 9700hc is built to deliver long-term reliability and lower repair costs when compared to devices made from traditional materials.
Seamless connectivity between mobile workers and the enterprise is enabled through wireless 802.11 a/b/g and Bluetooth communications for secure, high-speed data transfer and voice communication. Adaptus® Imaging Technology 5.5 provides users with the data capture functionality they need to execute the 5 rights of patient safety – whether scanning a patient wristband, medication or an employee badge. An optional fully programmable color camera is available to easily incorporate picture and video capture into new or existing applications. The large, high resolution 3.7˝ display enhances data viewing and supports both QVGA and VGA screen formats for flexible application support.
